For Your Reflection....

This is the season of love.

No, I’m not talking about the red hearts and the pink and red candies, chocolates galore and more roses than you can imagine.  But we are still in a season of love.

Right now we are still in the season following Epiphany, as we await the beginning of the season of Lent on Ash Wednesday.  The word epiphany is Greek for manifestation, and this manifestation of God is one of love.  God is manifested in the Jesus Christ...read more

First Time Visitor

Please click the links for more information about our Worship Times and Directions to FCC!

We hope this information will help you navigate your first visit to FCC!

We have two parking lots on either side of the church. The sanctuary and Fellowship Hall are both accessible by each parking lot and are both wheelchair accessible.

The sanctuary is the northern most building on our campus. The narthex is situated in the sanctuary building on the south side. The narthex is the gathering place just outside the sanctuary, but still located in the sanctuary building, a foyer if you will.

In the narthex you will find bulletins for worship, visitor welcome packets, announcement sheets with current info about church activities and many friendly faces ready and willing to greet you!

If you are in need of hearing assistance during a worship service, please visit the audio-visual booth in the southwest corner of the sanctuary.

A fully staffed nursery can be found in the building to the south-east of the sanctuary. Please click here for more information about our nursery.

We also offer opportunities for children during worship. Please click here for more information about Children Worship & Wonder, a worship experience specifically designed for children ages 3 through 2nd grade.

In our visitor packet we provide an information card. If you feel comfortable, we invite you to fill out the visitor card and drop it in the offering plate, or give it to one of our ministers. By providing us with your contact information we can provide you with more information about our community here at First Christian Church.

Along with singing, praying and preaching, we observe the Lord's Supper, or communion, every Sunday. Just as we believe Jesus would do, we invite everyone to participate in this simple, yet sacred, meal. You are invited to participate in this meal as communion is shared during both of our worship services.

Following each service the ministers greet members, friends and guests people at the south doors of the sanctuary. We hope you feel welcome to speak with one of the ministers as you leave the sanctuary.

Members and visitors often gather at 9:30 a.m. for a coffee fellowship in the fellowship hall. Please join us in the fellowship hall, the large building directly south of the sanctuary in the center of our campus.

In case you have any more questions about our church or our community, please check out our FAQ's page!  If you still have questions, click here to contact the church office and one of the ministers will contact you shortly!

We also have a more specific description of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and our beliefs here at FCC. Please click on the Beliefs or History pages to find out more.

We enjoy worshipping at and being a part of the First Christian Church family, and hope you will enjoy being here also!

If you have any further questions, please visit our contact page and we will be happy to put you in touch with one of our ministers, staff or the church office.
