Global Outreach

One of the most tangible ways that we are involved in Global Mission is through our mission trips. We have most recently taken an international mission trip to Matamoros, Mexico and plan on taking another international mission trip in the near future. Click here for more information about our mission trips.
We are also committed to Week of Compassion, the global outreach and sustainable development arm of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Each year in February, we celebrate the official "Week" of Compassion, raising money and awareness for the programs that WoC is involved in. Recently Week of Compassion, through our giving, has helped us to be involved in Haiti Earthquake Recovery, Chile Earthquake Recovery, Tennessee and Kentucky Flood Recovery and more.
In 2011 we collected the Week of Compassion offering on Sunday, March 20. We also celebrated a special event, Wine to Share: Water for All in which we raised over $1400 for sustainable water projects in East Africa. While this week in March was our big campaign for Week of Compassion, you can always donate to Week of Compassion by visiting their website.
