The missionaries are divided into four small group assignments that include Fundraising, Food & Fun, Tools, Documentation & Publicity.

M&M Sale - Going on now! Take a tube of M&Ms and return the container with your donations.

Buy a piece of a virtual house - You can purchase materials needed for the la casitas project: a door $250, a roof section $50, a window pane $15, or a brick $10.

The mission trip to Matamoros, Mexico

When? June 1 (Sunday) through June 7 (Saturday)

Where? Staying in dormitories in Brownsville, TX. Working in Matamoros, MX.

What is the mission? Building “Las Casitas” (little houses). These are 10' x 13' pre-fabricated homes that are erected on a piece of property owned by the resident. Each Las Casitas takes approximately 3 days to build.

Who is the sponsoring agency? Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries, affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest Region (Texas and New Mexico).

What is the cost? The approximate cost will be $400.00 per person. This includes gas, food, insurance, room, board, and building materials. Fundraisers will be planned with the goal of raising the entire amount.
