Organization

The organizational life of First Christian Church is separated into six major oversight categories that reflect that areas of Christian life that we feel should be stressed in order to be an effective congregation. They are:
Worship, Education, Outreach, Facilities, Hospitality, and Stewardship.

Leadership

The leaders chosen to oversee these categories and work with the congregation to see that tasks are accomplished are called Harvesters. The tasks that need to be accomplished are called Ministry Opportunities. Ministry Opportunities are assigned under the umbrella of one of the six oversight categories. Facilitators are responsible for the work of each Ministry Opportunity. Church members are free to sign up for those ministry opportunites in which they desire to participate and work with the facilitator to accomplish set goals or job responsibilites.
