Sunday Night Youth Groups (SNYG)

Sunday Night Youth Groups have been one of the largest and most successful programs at First Christian Church. SNYG is a dynamic and exciting program that is built on First Christian's belief that children and youth ministry are paramount to the mission of the church. We are committed to provide a safe and holy environment for youth to grow in their faith, to develop their own sense of belief, and to be nurtured by their youth leaders into lifelong disciples of Christ.

We meet on Sunday afternoons during the school year from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. The youth are divided into four Youth Groups based on their age. The Youth Groups are as follows:

Kids Youth Fellowship (KYF) - Ages 4 - Grade 1
Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF) - Grades 2 - 4
Chi-Rho (XP) - Grades 5 - 8
Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) - Grades 9 - 12

All the youth participate in SNYG by playing games and sharing a snack together. The four groups also separate and the youth leaders engage their particular group with a thoughtful lesson or activity. We then bring everyone together and close each SNYG with a youth only, youth lead worship service. Each week a different group from SNYG is invited to participate in leading our worship.

"Regular" Sunday Night Youth Group (SNYG) will begin on August 21st! We will meet 3:00pm - 5:00pm on Sunday evenings for games, fellowship, a lesson, a snack and worship. We hope you will join us!
