Kid's Youth Fellowship (KYF)
Ana Quinlantan
Ana has been a member of FCC since 2006 when she moved here from Seguin, Texas to attend LSU. She has been working with the children's program in Sunday school, Children's church and the nursery since her arrival. This is Ana's first year as a a youth group sponsor. She joins her brother-in-law, Paul Harmon, in leading the KYF. Ana also serves on the Sacraments Committee.
Paul Harmon
As a minister's son, Paul has been a lifelong memeber of the Disciples of Christ denomination. Paul and his wife, Gabriela joined FCC in 2002 after a job transfer moved them here from Seguin, Texas. Paul helped with the youth group in varying roles from games to meal before formally becoming a sponsor. Paul joins his sister-in-law, Ana, in leading the KYF. He has two children in the program. Paul currently serves as an Elder of the congregation.
Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF)
Nancy Fatta
Nancy, a lifelong Disciple, moved to Baton Rouge in 1995 and joined FCC with her family. An Elder and Sunday school teacher, this is Nancy's fourth year as a youth sponsor. A mother and grandmother, Nancy has been involved with our childrens programs in Sunday School, youth groups, Vacation Bible School, and the childrens holiday programs and parties over the years. As a former decorator, she brings her love of art and design to the program.
Judy Lester
Judy had been a member of First Christian since moving to Louisiana in 1999. She is currently serving as a Sunday school teacher and as Vice Chairman of the Board. Judy has a daughter, Amy, who is a freshman at LSU and was an active member of CYF. This is Judy's second year as a SNYG sponsor at FCC. She worked many years with youth in a Logos program in another state. Her active lifestyle and involvement in mission work help her to relate to kids.

Amy Zietlow
Amy began attending First Christian Church in October 2005 when her husband, Rev. Michael Karunas, accepted the call to be pastor at FCC. Amy is a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church and currently is called to Hospice of Baton Rouge where she serves as the CEO. Amy is mother to two children, a 4-year old son and 1-year old daughter. She loves to dance, read, play Nemo Memory with her son and watch goofy movies.
Amy Taliaferro
Amy and her husband, Greg, joined First Christian Church in 1995. Amy has been a youth sponsor for nine years. She has served the children of the church in Sunday school, youth group and Vacation Bible School over the past twelve years. Amy is the mother of twin boys and a daughter. Amy graduated from LSU with a masters degree in Communication Disorders in 1997 and is currently employed at the Runnels Preschool.
Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF)
Carol Rabb
Carol Rabb and her family have been members of First Christian Church since December 2001. She and her husband, George, have been sponsors of CYF for the last four years. Carol is also an Elder of the congregation. When not working at the church, Carol is a mortgage originator for Regions Bank. She and George also own their own business, Mobile Mine, which is a traveling gem mining field trip experience. The Rabbs have two sons, Jonathan and Joseph. Jonathan is a freshman at LSU and has been a member of CYF. Joseph is a fourth grader at Dutchtown Primary and a member of JYF.
George Rabb
George was born in New Orleans and lived in the surrounding area until 1987 when he and Carol moved to Raleigh, NC. In 1996 they moved to Baton Rouge, but attended his boyhood church in River Ridge, Louisiana. He grew up in the United Church of Christ and joined FCC in 2001. He has been married to Carol since 1987 and together they have two boys, Jonathan and Joseph. He currently serves as an Elder and in various ministries around the church. George has served as a youth sponsor with CYF since 2003.
